Welcome to Lumo. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to the Lumo AI platform, dashboard, and API at ai.lumowp.com.
By registering, signing in, purchasing credit, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use Lumo.
1. Definitions
- “Lumo”, “we”, “us”: the operator of the platform and related services.
- “User”, “you”: any individual or organization using the service.
- “Credit”: prepaid usage balance inside Lumo. Credit is not a bank deposit, e-money, or guaranteed number of tokens.
- “API Key”: credentials for programmatic access.
- “Input” / “Output”: content you submit and content generated by the service.
2. The service
Lumo provides access to AI models and tools through a unified platform. We are not the manufacturer of every underlying model and do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any specific model or provider.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime, error-free operation, perfect security, or that outputs will meet your expectations or any particular purpose.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
- Lumo uses email authentication. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be legally able to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, abuse, fraud, or legal requirements.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the platform
- Use the service for spam, harassment, or deceptive practices
- Reverse engineer or circumvent technical limits except where law permits
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
- Generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or explicitly prohibited by our policies
We may monitor usage for security, billing, and compliance. Automated or high-volume use must respect rate limits and plan terms.
5. AI outputs disclaimer
Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, especially for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Lumo does not provide professional advice. Outputs are not a substitute for qualified human judgment.
You retain responsibility for inputs you submit and how you use outputs.
6. Credit, billing, and refunds
- Prices, plans, and credit consumption are shown at checkout or in your dashboard.
- Credit is consumed when processing occurs (API calls, generations, etc.).
- Taxes may apply depending on your location and payment method.
- Refunds, if any, follow the policy displayed at purchase and applicable law. Unless stated otherwise, consumed credit is non-refundable.
- We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice where required.
7. API usage
API Keys must be kept confidential. You are liable for usage under your keys. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke keys that violate these Terms or pose risk to the platform.
8. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the platform, branding, and underlying software. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service according to these Terms.
You retain rights to your lawful inputs. You grant Lumo a license to process inputs and outputs as needed to operate and improve the service, subject to our Privacy Policy.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data. By using Lumo, you acknowledge that policy.
10. Third-party services
The service may rely on third-party models, infrastructure, and payment processors. Your use may be subject to additional third-party terms where applicable.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Lumo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Lumo in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply only to the extent allowed.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Lumo harmless from claims arising from your inputs, your use of outputs, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, non-payment, or legal reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (billing disputes, liability limits, indemnity) remain in effect.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless law requires otherwise.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Lumo’s operating entity, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts or tribunals with competent jurisdiction will resolve disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
